Saving energy!

Today's challenge involved turning off the lights when you leave the room. I have always had the habit of turning lights off since I could reach the light switch. I don't know why I just can't stand leaving them on. My younger sisters on the other hand leave EVERY SINGLE light in the house on and I believe they do it just to push my buttons.

I told my youngest sister Abby (7) about this 30 day challenge and she was really interested in this and wanted to do this with me. Because she won't remember everything I've just been telling her some of the easier challenges such as today's.

Book Worm

So today's challenge involved reading for 20 minutes. Most of my friends and classmates did NOT like the idea of this whatsoever because everyone hates reading. I, on the other hand love reading so this challenge is very beneficial for me.

I really enjoy the 30 day challenge so far and I can't wait to finish my new book!

Feb 26 Challenge 2: picking up litter that you aren't responsible for

Today's Challenge was to pick up litter that didn't belong to you. I picked up a few pieces of garbage at school during the lunch hour but later on after school my mom and I took our dog to the off lease park. I was disgusted with how many people don't pick up after their dog. My dog did his business right beside another dogs so I just decided to pick up both and throw it in the garbage.

Feb 25 3013 challange #1: Smiling or saying Hello to someone you dont normally talk to....

Today we were given our first challange in english class. As soon as I left the class I decided to complete the first challange. I said hello to a girl in grade 7 and she reacted like I was a total weirdo. I wasnt surprised by this because I would have reacted the same way. Later on while walking home after school I saw one of my classmates little brothers, so I decided to start a small conversation with him, he was quite friendly about it.
